Abstract It is considered monitoring of motive interests of students of economic specialities. In experiment took part 929 students aged 17-21 years. It is set that one of ways of increase of interest to engage in a physical culture and sport this contingent has creation and introduction in the educational process of the new programs with the use of popular types of sport, in our case it is playing kinds. The necessity of search of optimum ways of stimulation of physical self-education, forming of socially meaningful reasons of this activity is well-proven.
