Abstract Determined the relevance of the focus of professional training of future specialists for creative, professional self-actualization of personality. Analyzed the concept of "self-improvement" in philosophical and psychology-pedagogical literature. Specified the content of the notion of "professional self-improvement" students-undergraduates. Considered essential components of professional self-perfection of students-undergraduates and the main forms of their implementation. Provides criteria and indicators of professional self-perfection of students-graduates of pedagogical institutions.
